Interlaken

A couple of people told me to go here, am glad I did, very scenic town set between two lakes surrounded by the swiss alps in the Jungfrau region. Spent 3 days hiking here and got around to some very pretty villages/ hamlets in the mountains. Alot like the scenery in the south island but with pretty wooden chalet style houses.

Will always have the negative aspect that thats where I saw the Allblacks flunk out of the world cup....But also had a good birthday here, got smashed in my hostel nightclub.

All up did 18 hours of solid hiking. No eating out was done in Switz, food is way to expensive, except for choc and beer.
