Helsinki, Finland

Caught the ferry across from Tallinn, it was fuckin huge, more like a cruise ship, bigger then the interislander, there are many different ships that do the same trip to. My hostel was in the Olympic stadium complex and a 30 min walk from the city centre. YHA affilated so a bit stale and boring, no alcohol etc. Helsinki is a nice enough city, walked around a fair bit, visited the Suomenlinna fortress on a few islands in the harbour, quite impressive. Went up the olympic staduim tower for some good views. Everything is very expensive though, food and beers especially, more than Switzerland even. So I did not go out on the town. A beer in the supermarket is around 2.5€ so id hate to find out how much one in the pub is. Worth having a look though, mainly came across to catch my Ryanair flight from Tampere back to London.
