The Big Smoke

Have been in Kualar Lumpur the last 4 days. It has a population of 1.4 million but is no where near as spread out as Auckland and has pretty good public transport in its subway, monorail and LRT. Budget accommodation is not that nice though, pretty dirty and noisy. We are staying in Chinatown and most of the things to see and do are near by, Pekaling street has a nice arcade night market with loads of DVDS, tshirts and fake watches. Many food stalls and small restorans around as well so good, cheap eating.

Went to the Petronas towers which are pretty impressive at over 400m high and the worlds second tallest building. Went to the top of the Malaysian communication tower, which is taller than the sky tower. Has wicked views of the city. Visited many shopping malls, a couple of museums and a planetarium all pretty average.

Looking forward to getting out of here tomorrow.
