Into Thailand

Caught a minibus from our hotel on Penang into Thailand, heading to Hatyai via the Sadao border crossing, it was painless, all organised by our minivan driver. All the other people in our van were heading back to Phuket after a border run to update there visas. Stayed the night in Hatyai which is a nice little city. Beer is cheap hooray, yay for the Buddhists. Saw no sign of unrest, no armed checkpoints even just the border then a straight run to Hatyai.
