Bangkok

What can I say apart from crazy, been there before so knew most of the ins and outs. Stayed near Khao San road were I saw the most Europeans id seen in 2 months, whole city block set up for backpackers, cheap food, budget accommodation, travel agents, pubs and clubs and of course stalls selling knock off cloths to plastic Buddhas.

Visited the grand palace again was great, lots of photo opportunities. Lots of gold and shiny stuff on display. Spent a lot of time going up and down the river on river taxis always a ball once you work out the system. Chucked out most of my clothes and replaced them with surf and skateboard knockoffs, t-shirts for $5 and rip curl cargo shorts for $10. Saves doing washing ;). Went to some shopping malls but did little shopping, Hayden is headed home so he did a bit. Ill do mine before I head to Europe.
Saw snakes on a plane thought it was pretty crap, but expected it to be. Checked out Chinatown while James and Hayden shopped, was a warren of markets.

Ended up staying for 6 days, Hayden flew back to NZ and James and I flew to Phnom Penh in Cambodia with Airasia for about $60NZ.
