Dresden, Germany

Oh yeah I'm in Dresden and am hungover, beer is very cheap here and very good. Staying at my mate Dans house, cheers Dan. Went to high school and Uni with Dan. Dresden is really nice, modern yet old. Some nice museums and is a Uni town. Public transport is good and there are loads of parks and the city feels open and smaller than its 500,000 pop. Ive eaten some nice German food and even brought sausages in a jar. Dan cut my hair, so am now baldish.

Dresden had its town fest while I was visiting as well, saw some bands and drank some beers, watched the firework show. Was nice.

Did a day trip to Bohemian Switzerland National park which is on the Czech/ German border. Went for a nice wander around and a hike up a hill. Some nice rock formations and an arch with good views of the national park. On the way back to Dresden on the train I jumped off at Bad Shandau and grabbed a couple of beers.
