Zakopane and the Tatra mountains

Was raining in Krakow so decided to head down to the Tatra mountains, well that was an interesting decision as it was raining and snowing in Zakopane. Random weather. Had a blast though, my shoes will prob never dry out... oh well.

Nice tourist town with loads of shops, pubs and restaurants. Went up the mountains a couple of times but no serious hiking as I am not kitted out for snow. Had a fun day with some Aussies, half day snowball fight, snowmen, sliding on guts in a disposable poncho etc. Had snow stuck in both ears. Was very wet and cold by the end, so much alcohol was consumed to warm up.

Had a good time in Zakopane despite the unseasonal weather. Hopefully it clears up so I might get some hiking in on the Slovakian side of the ranges.
