Saint Malo

Nice old town with battlements/city walls facing the sea, with a few forts on islands in the bay. Did a nice walk along the beach from the youth hostel and around the battlements of the old tow, nice views. Glad I visited, had the first nice sandy beach ive seen since Asia. Would be really nice in Summer. Watched the rugby final with some French and a couple of Aussies.

Had a nice sleep on the beach in the arvo before catching a some trains back to Paris. The TGV (fast train) was 3 hrs and 70 euro but I found a round about way (5 hrs) back for 50 euro. 3 trains later and I was back in Paris where I slept at the Airport (Orly Sud) then jumped on my early morning flight to Athens.
