Aswan

bigger town than expected, lots of touts, higher prices for most things including beer and water.

Cheap falukas though went out on the Nile with Matt and visited the other bank and checked out some tombs of nobels and walked to the top of the ridge for some good views of the nile and Aswan.

Did a trip down to Abu Simbol which is on the border with Sudan. Also visited Aswan High dam and philae temple.

hotel tried to bandit us but managed to get out of it and onto a two night Faluka trip up the nile.
