On the coast in Syria, a bit cold for swimming though. We did a day trip from here out to Qalat Saladin (Saladins Castle), was sweet a bit more ruined than Crac, but in a nice spot, looks very hard to access. Had a good time there, it was supposed to be closed as it ws Tuesday but we got let in anyway, hardly any other tourists there so pretty much had the run of the castle to ourselfs.
