Hama

Typically got dropped at a bus station in Homs that did not connect onwards to Hama so tried walking to the other station which was very far away so ended up getting a lift with a couple of local lads to the station where we got a bus no worries. Got a hotel and ditched the packs then went for a wander around town checking out the old water wheels (Norias) that creak and groan as they turn. Loads of good street food around our hotel and we managed to track down a bottle shop. Took some photos from up on the towns citadel. The next day we bused down to Crac des Chevaliers an old crusader castle that is in pretty good nick. Spent a good few hours exploring from the dungeons to the highest tower. Was fun.
