Nice city, even managed to get some sunshine, has a decent old section along and around the royal mile, had been advised not to pay to go into the castle so didnt bother, spent most of my time up on Arthur's seat, a big hill overlooking the city. Great views and some nice trails. Carlton hill also gave nice views and had some random monuments on it. Got drunk on Tennents, as you do and had a good time, stayed in nice little hostel near the bus station.
