Had the overnight megabus from Inverness to London then went straight down to the farm to catch up, pick up my gear and say my goodbyes. Sad and happy to leave, the summer in England was looking pretty rubbish, but I enjoyed the work. The pet lambs were looking well and life on the farm seemed to be rolling along, will miss my boss and his family, they looked after me well. Did my last walk along the county lanes leading a mob of sheep back to pond park (field name).
Caught up with Richard in London and crashed out on his couch, tried to post my stuff home but NZ customs made the whole thing a bit expensive, 135 quid and had some other hassles so decided to leave my pack and tent with Richard and give the rest of my excess gear away. Posted a small box via seamail for 10 quid.
Will miss the UK enjoyed my stay there. Enjoy the outside work, will prob try and carry on with it in my next job, whatever and when ever that is. Wont miss the English weather though and missed being near the coast.
