Venice, Italy

Flight was fairly painless, a bit full but most are over the summer, only paid 40 quid, with Ryan air. jumped on a bus then a train, 8.5 euros and 2.5 hrs later and I was in Venice, flying to Trieste ended up working out ok. Left my bags at the train station storage and went for a wander around town, ate a big but very thin pizza before heading out of town to my camp ground. Got battered that night and ended up in a sheet at a toga party, a couple of backpacker tour buses were holding. The next day headed into town and made it to most of the sights, which were all rammed full of people. The canals and houses seemed really random and it looks close to going under. Everything in town was expensive as well and after walking all day decided to bail in the morning.
