Lake Ohrid, Macedonia

Arrived at the bus terminal to find there were no buses until the afternoon to Orhrid so caught a bus to a nearby town and then caught a shretaxi to Orhrid, managed to find my Hostel by luck in the old town so can be a bit hard to find things. First night ther we had a bbq... ace. Second night there went out on a boat on the lake and got pissed and went swimming, then the third night there had a movie on a projector, all good the Finn who runs the joint is a good bloke and a backpacker himself so knows what we want. Also watched some Olympics on an English channel. Went for a few swims in the lake, checked out the old churches and the castle. The Macedonians use Ohrid as there beach holiday spot as they are landlocked. So there were many many domestic holiday makers about as well as a few backpackers. But its still off the package tour list.
