Transport run

Share Taxi from Ohrid to the Border, got checked out of Macedonia then walked across no mans land into Albania, paid my 1 euro visa fee then got stamped in/ From there caught a Taxi 15km into Pogradec the main Lake ohrid town in Albania where I had food and got money from an ATM after trying about 3 different machines as usual.... fucking new bank card. From there caught a furgon (minivan that leaves when full) to Elbasan, had help from some friendly locals who brought me a coffee and waived down the right van for me, the driver was insane much overtaking on blind corners, screeching of brakes and horn blowing. Got to Elbasan safely though, from there had to wait a while for the Tirana furgon to fill up. By now it was late afternoon and most Albanians do there travelling in the morning usually early. The road to Tirana was cool very windy and steep, buses don't do the run as its to tight for them. Some nice views of Elbasan on the way up the hill, massive communist factories that are not used now as they are to inefficient.

Was a fun day, enjoy the challenge of a good transport day especially crossing borders on foot and not knowing if your going to make your destination by days end. Also the friendly people who helped me out on the way made it all the better.
